Will being in a pale called Christian Orthodoxy save you?

The question I raise today is, can Christian Orthodoxy save you? I know that “Orthodoxy” is a term that is the counterpart to the term “Heterodoxy”, which means heresy.  So many Christian teachers seem to hang their hat on being within the “Pale of Christian Orthodoxy”, that is why I just wanted to raise the question.

(Joh 8:31-32) Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

Since Jesus said that the truth will make you free, if Christian Orthodoxy is that truth he was speaking about, can a person be “Orthodox” and still go to hell and be lost?

Clearly Jesus said that if you continue in his word, that ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free – he who is free is free indeed, and we know that ALL free people will be saved, they are children of the King.

Orthodoxy (from Greek ὀρθός, orthos (“right”, “true”, “straight”) + δόξα, doxa (“opinion” or “belief”, related to dokein, “to think”), is adherence to accepted norms, more specifically to creeds, especially in religion.

In the Christian sense the term means “conforming to the Christian faith as represented in the creeds of the early Church”.  The earliest (first) recorded use of the term “orthodox” is in the Codex Iustinianus of 529-534, but “heterodoxy” was in use from the beginning of the first century of Christianity. (Act 20:29-32) For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them. Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears. And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.

Paul the Apostle was beheaded around 62 – 67AD., so after he departed, just as he said, grievous wolves entered among the Saints to draw disciples after themselves.

It is clear that the term “Orthodoxy” was not even used until 529AD, so clearly there was no such term before then being bandied about.  Today a vast number of denominations and non-denominational sects of Christianity, proudly make the claim that they are within the “Pale of Christian Orthodoxy”, that is supposed to mean that they are alright, they are not heretics, they cannot be called a cult, because they are within “The Pale”.

But clearly Jesus said that “The Truth” will save a man, yet clearly being within “The Pale” will not.

Think of every doctrine you know that is within “The Pale” and tell me that there are not people in hell who believed all of them.  Are there people in hell who taught and believed the Trinity?  Are there people in hell who believed in the virgin birth or perhaps the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ?

Clearly there are people who believed all of these things and were not transformed by them, they believed certain doctrines of so called Orthodoxy, no one called them a heretic, yet they hated their brother, they cheated, lied and committed sins, they were not free, they were not like Christ.

So clearly it must be said that the “Truth” Jesus said would make you free, is NOT the same as “Christian Orthodoxy”.

Big church men, married to the state needed a “Pale of Orthodoxy”, to make it easy to determine who was alright and who was a heretic, and of course we know what they did with heretics, right? Some of them, they burned with green wood, took their possessions, maimed, tortured to death sometimes.

Green wood was used because they really liked to see the slow death, gruesome, and I supposed they thought that the suffering soul would recant before the end! My point is simple, while you might think it a good thing to keep out some false doctrine, it was a power play for big church men married to the state.

I mentioned in the article “We would have healed Babylon“, the spirit of murder that has always been found in big church men, the scribes and pharisees, anytime church is granted the arm of the flesh, state power, they murder, it was no mistake that they called John Calvin the tyrant of Geneva!

It has become crystal clear to me, a man who makes the claim that he is alright because he is “Within the Pale”, has denied the power of God.  Being “Within the Pale” does not mean that you are saved, but knowing the truth does.

Paul the Apostle did not go to them who were Apostles before him, he had a revelation of Jesus Christ:

(Gal 1:15-19) But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother’s womb, and called me by his grace, To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood: Neither went I up to Jerusalem to them which were apostles before me; but I went into Arabia, and returned again unto Damascus. Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to see Peter, and abode with him fifteen days. But other of the apostles saw I none, save James the Lord’s brother.

Those who are proud of themselves being “Within the Pale of Orthodoxy”, differ with each other on a number of issues, and they have come to accept that.  They set up different doctrines and different churches who teach differently,

but they are more than content to unite and call everyone outside the pale, heretics,

but this is what the scripture says.

(1Jn 2:27) But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

Paul had that “Anointing” which was truth and no lie, because he received it by the grace and mercy of God.

Within the “Pale of Orthodoxy” there are lies and that is acceptable, everyone cannot be right when many disagree, but that anointing is truth and NO lie, clearly the “Pale of Orthodoxy” and the “Anointing” are not the same thing.  The truth Jesus spoke of that would make a man free is not the “Pale of Orthodoxy”, but that "Anointing".

(Rom 10:13-16) For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?

One receives that “Anointing” which is truth and no lie, not because of the power of men in the pale of Orthodoxy, but by the foolishness of preaching.  Preaching from who?  How shall they preach except they be sent?

Those who are within the “Pale of Orthodoxy” are sent by the seminary, those who have a revelation of Jesus Christ, like Paul, are sent by the Lord Jesus.

Isaiah says – “who hath believed OUR report?” – it isn’t the report from the Orthodoxy’s you need to hear, but the report of Isaiah, Peter, Paul.

(1Co 1:17-21) For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect. For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.

Those who boast themselves of the “Pale of Orthodoxy”, preach with words of wisdom and the cross of Christ is of none effect in the lives of the hearers.  But Paul preached the cross that is the power of God unto salvation, not Orthodoxy.  Orthodoxy is the standard of Babylon and the Anointing which is truth and no lie must be ours, those who wish to make the way straight.

If you hear a teacher boast of his Orthodoxy or commend the Orthodoxy of others, you’re teacher is a servant of Babylon, whether he knows it or not.  But the straight way, the narrow way, requires that Orthodoxy must not be the standard, but the Anointing must be,  to say otherwise is to deny the power of God.

Are you saved by Orthodoxy or are you saved by the Anointing?  There is a Pale of Orthodoxy to keep a semblance of unity among big church men and to keep the sheepel in line, but there is no true unity without a personal revelation of Jesus Christ, it must be that Anointing which is TRUTH and NO LIE –

That is the ONLY TRUTH that can set you free!

My Brothers raise the Standard!
