The Theologian’s Imaginary Church

Everyone who claims to be a true Christian, knows that they must submit themselves to the authority of Christ. You cannot even be serious about claiming Christ as your savior and king, unless you are dead to self and alive in him.

“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.” (Ga 2:20 AV)

We do not belong to ourselves, we belong to Christ, so it seems obvious to me that being a follower of Christ means that we, without question, must obey him.

What if someone could come along and impress you by what ever means, that he is a right representation of Christ and therefore you should obey him? And if you should obey him, you should also obey those who he appoints over you?

Jesus did have Apostles, those of whom he made his disciples; (the word apostle means “sent one”) he instructed them in the following verses:

“At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying,

Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven? And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them, And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me. But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.” (Mt 18:1-6 AV)

The truth I would like you to see here is; Jesus’s disciples were the little children he was referring to. In other words, if you didn’t receive those who Jesus sent, you did not receive him, and neither did you receive his Father.

“And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet. Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.” (Mt 10:14-15 AV)

Now I ask you again, what if someone could convince you by deceptive means, that they were the approved representatives of Christ on this earth, and that you should receive them and obey them? Who would want to commit such a hoax on those who are seeking Jesus anyway?

Why, the answer to that is Lucifer; haven’t you heard?

“How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.” (Isa 14:12-14 AV)

Lucifer’s hearts desire is to be the head of God’s people, he wants to be worshiped as God; so wouldn’t it make sense that he would start a “Church” that he controlled and appointed over whom he willed?

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I even more love the truth; that is exactly what the Devil has done!

During the first three hundred years after Christ, there was much truth and much apostasy (apostasy means to fall away from the true faith in Christ); for the most part Christians met in homes and from time to time endured heavy persecution by the governments and religions of their day.

Even during the days that the Apostles lived and were writing the scriptures we read today, the following observation was made:

“Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.” (1Jo 2:18 AV)

However, in the first half of the 3rd century (300 years) after Christ major changes occurred; Christianity became married to the governments of it’s time, greatly reducing persecution against Christians.

“It ultimately became the state religion of Armenia in either 301 or 314, the state religion of Ethiopia in 325, the state religion of Georgia in 337, and then the state religion of the Roman Empire in 380. During the Age of Exploration (15th to 17th cent.), Christianity expanded throughout the world, becoming the world’s largest religion.” (excerpted from Wiki online)

The major player in all of this who came on the scene and was crowned emperor of the Roman Empire, was Constantine; he was made emperor of the Roman Empire from 306-337AD.

Constantine was supposedly converted to Christ after a heavenly vision and received “Christian” baptism just before he died. Long after Constantine’s supposed conversion to Christ, he killed, his son, his second wife, several others of his relatives, and some of his most intimate friends, in passionate resentment of some fancied infringement of his rights.

Constantine was the Roman Emperor and also, to that point, the most influential emperor over the matters of the “Church”; facilitating the marriage of the “Church” and the State.

Constantine was a murderer, an idol worshiper, he never disavowed himself from various forms of paganism and he also is responsible in many ways of the marriage between Christianity and paganism. Upon the advice of his mother, Helen, he erected magnificent structures, calling them “Churches” and did this as penance for his many murderers; one of the most notable was the Church of the Holy Wisdom of the Byzantine Empire, today the beginning of the Eastern Orthodox Catholic Church.

This is a basic history of the building that we call “Church” today.

Now I ask you again; what if a man can convince you that he is the representation of Christ, so you will obey him rather than Christ? Again, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but that is exactly what has happened;

God’s true Saints (the stars of God) are scattered upon the face of the earth and therefore, their power as becomes the Saints, is scattered as well.

The theologian’s imaginary “Church” is praised and identified by the world as the legitimate Church, while the real Church is scattered!

How did they do that?

Let me explain: First let us bring forward some words that you need to understand.

CHURCH This word originates from the Greek language and it is a word that means to rule, to be the head of, as in,

Jesus Christ, the Head of The Church.

The only problem is, this word never is written in the original writings by the Apostles of Jesus Christ, instead the word used was “ekklesia”, which interpreted means “the called out ones”.

The below terms according to Webster’s Dictionary are defined: ECCLESIASTIC “Clergyman”

ECCLESIASTICAL 1. Of or relating to a church, esp. as a formal and established institution (law) 2. Suitable for use in a church (vestments)

ECCLESIASTICISM Excessive attachment to ecclesiastical forms and practices

ECCLESIOLOGY 1. The study of church architecture and adornment. 2. Theological doctrine relating to the church.

Now all of the above terms have been used in place of or came from one little word “EKKLESIA”, interpreted “the called out ones”.

This is what I call “The Theologian’s Imaginary Church”,

it is given authority cut out of whole cloth, it is completely made up by men who serve Lucifer (the Devil) and their own bellies, that is why it is not real!

We must understand that all authority is given to Jesus in heaven and in earth.

“And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.” (Mt 28:18 AV) “And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my (church) called out ones; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against (it) them.” (Mt 16:18 AV)

Above I have substituted the words that belong there; put in parentheses are the faulty terms added by the King James interpreters.

Mt. 16:18 is misquoted by Mr. Theologian to empower his “Imaginary Church”.

Jesus said to Peter, which has a name that comes from Petra, meaning rock, your name means Petra and upon this rock I will build my called out ones.

When Jesus was talking to Peter, he was not saying he would build his called out ones on Peter, he was saying he would build his called out ones on himself, not on Peter, although he was a foundational Apostle.

Jesus is the chief corner stone that the builders rejected, not Peter, you doubt me, well let’s let scripture interpret it’s self, ok?

“Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;” (Eph 2:19-20 AV)

Jesus is the Rock, not Peter, Got that Catholics?

Even if the Catholics could prove that the Apostle Peter was the first “Pope”, the moment that they started building “Churches” and establishing “Ecclesiastical structures” and teaching lies about faith, the moment they did that, they were no longer related to Jesus Christ as their authority and master.

The Catholic Church believes in Apostolic succession, they claim that every “Pope” relates back to Jesus Christ,

Well, this is what the scripture says:

“They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham’s children, ye would do the works of Abraham. But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham.

Ye do the deeds of your father.

Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God. Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.

Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word. Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do.

He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.” (Joh 8:39-44 AV)

The Catholic Church has a history of murder, they do the works of their father the devil, because the truth is not in them, it is exactly what Jesus said to the religious leaders of his day.

The religious leaders Jesus referred to were born of fornication, their mother was a spiritual harlot, they clearly understood what Jesus was accusing them of.

Do we believe now that things are any different for the little child sent by God today, than it was back then?

Truly you must understand that there is nothing new under the sun, sin is still as it always was. The fallen traits of men still demonstrate themselves the same way they always have.

In the 15th and 16th century, the thing we call “The Protestant Reformation” took place. Many Catholic Priests, such as Martin Luther, started and joined this reformation and departed from the western and eastern Catholic Church.

Back then the Protestants began to say that the Catholic Church was a harlot (Babylon) and that they were no longer the legitimate Church of Christ.

The Protestants were taking over and in many cases eventually seized control of their governments and in many cases persecuted those who differed with them and sometimes killed those who they deemed as heretics.

Heresy is considered by the church as those teaching anything other than what they deem to be within the pale of “Orthodox Christianity”. Orthodoxy is determined by, guess who, well Mr. Theologian of course!

Those of higher status in their institutions of higher learning, their seminaries, are those who determine what can or cannot be believed by one, in order for them to be considered a genuine Christian.

“Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.” (Ro 12:14 AV) “Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.” (Ro 12:20 AV)

I guess the Protestants or the Catholics did not read this when they burn people at the stake, put them on torture racks, took away their possessions and in other various ways, destroyed their enemies.

I heard one Protestant apologist attempt to defend them recently, Theologian Dr. R.C. Sproul; he said “this fact in history is a black eye for “The Church”, the reason that they killed and tortured others is because they really believed in hell back then”.

That explains it all for me, does that explain it for you?

“Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him. Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.” (1Jo 3:6-8 AV)

Yet the Protestant – Mr. Theologian tries the best he can to claim his historical connection to Jesus Christ, he claims a sort of Apostolic succession and therefore must also claim the legitimacy of the Catholic Church before the Protestants arrived.

You see Mr. Theologian believes that you must go through him to get to Christ.

In the Presbyterian denomination, and in all “Established Churches” Protestant or Catholic, they have a two part system, the clergy and the laity, the clergy speak for God and the laity listen and obey.

In the Presbyterian Church you have to attend their approved seminaries and go through their processes or you will never be accepted into the clergy and thus you are unqualified to speak for God.

The theologian’s imaginary church,

approves of who they approve of and rejects who they want to reject, they call this “ministerial ordination”. Once these ministers are “ordained”, they then have a piece of paper given by a the “theologians imaginary church” that they can take anywhere to get them status among the various institutionalized churches who have respect for them.

“Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.” (Ro 13:1 AV)

It is clear that the scriptures teach that there is no power, than that which is ordained of God, yet Mr. Theologian believes that he has the power to ordain what God has not ordained, because he speaks for God.

The word “ordained” simply means "approved". According to Theologian Dr. R.C. Sproul, he describes what makes your church legitimate; he says

“a real church preaches the good news, ministers the sacraments and has an ecclesiastical hierarchy” But Jesus says: “For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.”

(Mt 18:20 AV) This little child believes that a legitimate ekklesia (church) , is one where Jesus is present, simple and to the point, no more and no less.

Just as we have lawyers who study law, go to school, get their approval papers from men, and pass laws that make it impossible to get justice without them, we have theologians who study religion, go to school, get their approval papers from men, and pass laws that make it impossible to get to Jesus without them!

They are an elite class, smarter than the rest of us, they are the prudent of this world and they are no different than the religious leaders of Jesus’ day.

“In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight.” (Lu 10:21 AV)

You may be saying, “but what is wrong with studying about God” isn’t that what the word “theology means?

Of course there is nothing wrong with studying about God, there is just something wrong with boasting about it.

If one who studies theology does not boast about it, they won’t be approved by Mr. Theologian, you have to consider your training superior to the little child who comes to the Lord by faith or how will you make the simple fear you and obey you?

You MUST assert yourself as the authority who speaks for God, go ahead and tell the simple man of faith how ignorant he is, and if he only had your knowledge and training, then he too would be approved to speak for God.

“But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren. And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven. Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ. But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant. And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.” (Mt 23:8-12 AV)

And Jesus also taught: “But Jesus called them to him, and saith unto them, Ye know that they which are accounted to rule over the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and their great ones exercise authority upon them. But so shall it not be among you: but whosoever will be great among you, shall be your minister: And whosoever of you will be the chiefest, shall be servant of all.” (Mr 10:42-44 AV)

Now Mr. Theologian believes that he is the approved servant and you should listen to him; anyone who dares question the quality of his service are told that they just don’t get it, they are ignorant and unlearned.

“Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.” (Ac 4:13 AV)

The Disciples of Jesus, those whom the Lord choose and walked with him, when he walked on the earth, were ignorant and unlearned men.

Today such men would no doubt fail to get the approval of Mr. Theologian, because Mr. Theologian’s faith is based in theological studies, of which they excel in; rather than time with Jesus, which those who enter the kingdom as a little child excel in.

How do you know who Mr. Theologian is? It is very simple, what does he teach? Does he give glory to God or to men?

What is his remedy for learning the “living Truth”? Does he stress study and self-discipline? Does he talk about the so called “Spiritual Disciplines”?

Are one of his favorite instructions for knowing Christ, found in his misuse of 2 Ti 2:15?

“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” (2Ti 2:15 AV)

The above passage is not telling any one to study to get ordained or approved by God, read it carefully, it is telling the “Workman” – “Servant” – “Minister”, who is already approved by God to study so that he might use the scriptures properly, in context, so that he might prove that which is good.

A person who has that anointing, the Spirit of Truth, knows the things of God, because of what they have freely received of God, by his mercy. It is not of works of righteousness, lest any man should boast, but by faith in the Lord, Savior and Apostle of our souls, that we receive that seed planted on good ground; that anointing which is truth and no lie.

“But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.” (1Jo 2:27 AV)

Just as the above scripture states, “THERE IS NO LIE IN THE ANOINTING!”;

Mr. Theologian has friends who he ordains or approves of, and in his network of friends, they promote one another. These networked “Ordained Ministers”, who promote each other, excluding others they deem unworthy,

allow for a wide birth of doctrines and teachings among themselves; let me explain;

there are many things that they don’t agree on. Earlier in this article I mentioned Constantine; one thing Constantine did not like is all the disagreements and fighting amongst leaders in the Christian Church of that time;

that is why Constantine called the Council of Niacea, in order to resolve disputes among the “Mr. Theologians” of his day.

Constantine was a leader whose goal was to facilitate ecumenicalism among the theologians; the term “ecumenicalism” means to set aside religious disagreements, and get along with those you previously were in opposition to. Today ecumenicalism brings Christians, Jews and Moslems together as brothers of “one god”.

Now I ask you, if “Mr. Theologian” possesses “that Anointing which is Truth and NO lie” why does one teach about Christ one way, and the other teach about Christ another way, yet they get along together and promote one another?

“For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.” (Joh 12:43 AV) “But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.” (Ro 2:29 AV) “How can ye believe, which receive honour one of another, and seek not the honour that cometh from God only?” (Joh 5:44 AV)

Now I realize that they claim that nobody’s perfect, and their standards are good enough for God to be ok with.

However, I believe that ALL lies are inconsistent with “The Spirit of God”, which is also called “The Spirit of Truth”; I believe that any lie has it’s consequences and affects the image of Christ in the heart of the believer;

for Jesus IS The Way, The Truth, and The life and we live by a Living Faith, don’t tell me that what you believe, no matter how minuet, does not affect you, it does!

“Go through, go through the gates; prepare ye the way of the people; cast up, cast up the highway; gather out the stones; lift up a standard for the people.” (Isa 62:10 AV) “Can two walk together, except they be agreed?” (Am 3:3 AV)

I know while I am talking, that you are thinking that I must be talking about all “Churches” but yours. I know you see your seminary trained “Pastor” or “Priest” as the most humble man alive, I know you think your “Church” is different. It is possible that your “Church” is different in degrees from other “Churches”.

But let me close with one last point, if you do not obey Jesus and live by faith, how can you claim that your “Church” is doing works of righteousness? Can anyone be righteous outside of obedience to Christ?

I say, close down THE THEOLOGIAN’S IMAGINARY CHURCH!

“For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.” (Isa 66:2 AV)

May the Lord not give his glory to another!
