Jerusalem is Babylon
(1Th 4:18) Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
Satan is very aware that a true disciple of the Lord Jesus is comforted in the hope of his coming, we are to put on the hope of salvation, the helmet of the armor of God, because in a wicked world the devil wants to take away that hope and bash your head in with lies! I am writing this article out of love for the people of God, because their hope of salvation, their vision of “The Day of the Lord” is being played down by the forces of darkness. The enemy has put out his false endtime teaching doctrines and even has public secular support, so that anyone who actually believes the true hope of salvation, as the scriptures declare, is called “anti-Semitic” – “out of the pale of orthodoxy” – “cult leader”! As the scriptures declare, “hope maketh not ashamed, because the Love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost”; our hope must be sure and we must hold on to it until the end. Abraham believed in the salvation of God, even to the point that he was willing to sacrifice his own promised Son, and that was counted to him for righteousness. We are being lied to, and I hope that God will help me in explaining some of this to you, “he who has ears to hear, let him hear what The Spirit of Truth is saying”. There is so much scripture on this subject in the NT and OT, it would be impossible or at least impractical to even attempt to show them all, so I only hope to cover a few of them here, just letting you know that their is vast scriptural text pointing to my conclusion that “Jerusalem is Babylon”.
I don’t even know where to start in this article! What I am about to tell you is something that I know I have received from the Lord. This truth has been before your face in scripture all along, yet I don’t know anyone teaching this. Now I can tell you that I hate it when people write articles and make others read pages and pages of “their evidence”, only to propose something, had you known ahead of time where they were going, you would not have wasted your time reading their article. I am not going to do this, I am going to be upfront and title this article right to the point! If the title makes you leave without reading the article, than so be it, maybe this is truth you weren’t supposed to know anyway? First scripture:
(2Pe 1:19-21) We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.
Peter is saying that no prophesy is of private interpretation, the prophets prophesied as they were moved by the Holy Ghost of old and these prophecies are for us today. They were not just for the Jews of old, but for the Jews of new as well. A Jew is not one after the flesh, but after the Spirit (Rom. 2:28-29). These prophecies apply to us, according to Peter, until the day star arises in our hearts. That hasn’t happened yet, so they apply to us! The OT companion scripture to Peter is as follows:
(Isa 60:1-5) Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising. Lift up thine eyes round about, and see: all they gather themselves together, they come to thee: thy sons shall come from far, and thy daughters shall be nursed at thy side. Then thou shalt see, and flow together, and thine heart shall fear, and be enlarged; because the abundance of the sea shall be converted unto thee, the forces of the Gentiles shall come unto thee.
Notice the above language “Lift up thine eyes”, you are down cast and walking mournfully before the Lord – “Thou shalt see and flow together” you are going to now start to see eye to eye with your brother in the Lord – “thine heart shall fear and be enlarged” – you will start to have a greater capacity to love others, I hope you see this. Now for our next scripture:
(1Co 15:46) Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.
The Lord God has shown his pattern, the above scriptures point out this great truth. The first man, Adam was carnal, the second man was spiritual, the first nation was natural, the natural ethnic Jews, the second nation spiritual, the spiritual Jews, the first Jerusalem natural, the second Jerusalem spiritual, the land from above, the Mother of us all. (Gal. 4:22-26)
I am now going to stop for a moment a post a video, if you do not know yet that the pre-trib raputure is a lie, also known as “Dispensationalism”, “The Left Behind Series”, “The so called “Literal interpretation of Scripture”, “The Late Great Planet Earth”, WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN? Please, if you won’t listen to me, let’s have someone better known than I am, give a little information to you, Jerry Johnson.
Ok, a few thing I would like to repeat, things that are commonly known that Jerry Johnson just stated. The “Jews” in the land of what is called Israel today are NOT an ethnicity, but a religion and a culture, just ask them, they will tell you! So these are NOT the Jews that the bible calls the apple of his eye, these are NOT the Jews that Paul the Apostle was speaking of in Romans, these are NOT the Jews of OT prophecy! Ladies and Gents, this is a scandal, a delusion, from the pit of hell to steal Gods promises from those to whom it was intended! Israel did NOT become a nation in 1948 and the present place is not the endtime biblical nation of Israel!
Let me explain why it is very likely that your Christian teacher or elder is not going to like what I am about to tell you.
This will upset the apple cart, the statuesque he supports.

And now if you can receive it, you will be rejoicing in the highness of God and mournfully awaiting the promises of God and his deliverance, rather rejoicing in this false doctrine and standard of righteousness.
Don’t you agree that it is a good thing that God is glorified, rather than men?
Thine heart shall fear and be enlarged” – you will start to have a greater capacity to love others, I hope you see this. LET ME JUST TELL YOU THE BIBLICAL STORY:
There was a natural Jerusalem, representing God’s people Israel and now there is a spiritual Jerusalem still representing God’s people. (Gal. 4:22-26) The natural Jerusalem became a harlot and so has the spiritual Jerusalem become a harlot (Isaiah 1:21). So God caused judgment to come upon the natural Jerusalem, just as he is about to, and is bringing judgment on the spiritual Jerusalem. When Jesus gave power unto his Apostles and established his “Ecclesia”, falsely called “The Church”, he said “what you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, what you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven” (Matt. 18:18) The Apostles warned, “your fight is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and wickedness in high places (Eph. 6:12) – they warned that there were many Anti-Christ at that time, and they were living in the last days (1Jn 2:18); they warned that grievous wolves would come, not sparing the flock (Acts 20:29); Apostasy was already in full swing back then and it is now coming to it’s complete fulfillment in our time. Please don’t let anyone tell you that this is the day of “Grace” and some how or another God won’t destroy those who rebel against him as he did to the Jews of old. God is still the same today, yesterday and forever!
(1Pe 4:17-18) For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?
So why has God’s house been overrun and in need of judgment? Because God’s people have loosed this wickedness, the outer court in this spiritual Jerusalem has been trampled by the wicked. Just as the natural Jews of old allowed the idols of the Gentiles in, allowed the King of Babylon in to see their great treasures as King Hezekiah did, so has the spiritual Jews allowed all of the same. God is no respecter of person and he is a righteous judge, he would not have destroyed the natural Jews who sinned, unless he would rightly also destroy the spiritual Jews who committed the same sins. Jesus warned the Ecclesia in the letters to the seven “Churches” in the book of Revelations, “unless you repent I will come and take away your candle, take away your witness, your light. As Gal. 4:22-26 says “Jerusalem from above is the mother of us all” and now the scripture that everyone ought to hear:
(Hos 4:5) Therefore shalt thou fall in the day, and the prophet also shall fall with thee in the night, and I will destroy thy mother.
Well, the lying, deceived, dispensationalist will claim that this isn’t for us today, this is only for the middle east “Jews”? I would ask the question, “Where are the Jewish prophets in the land of Israel?” The Jews have had no prophets since John the Baptist! So clearly this passage cannot be referring to the religious and cultural Jews presently living in the natural Israel. However, is not Christendom full of false prophets today? Of course it is, so the final fulfillment of this prophesy will manifest it’s self upon the Kingdom of Christendom, the spiritual Jerusalem. Jesus said “this NIGHT before the cock crows, thou shalt deny me three times” (Matt. 26:34) – Jesus said, as the prophets of old said “You ALL shall be offended of me this NIGHT, smite the Shepherd and the sheep shall be scattered”(Matt. 26:31) – Jesus said “in that NIGHT there will be two men in a bed, one shall be taken and the other left” Jesus said “I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work”(Joh 9:4) Jesus said “But if a man walk in the night, he stumbleth, because there is no light in him” (Joh 11:10) Jesus said “Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee” (Rev 3:3)
The Apostle Paul said: “For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.” (1Th 5:2-7)
So brothers and sisters, let him who has ears hear – we are either in the Night or the Night is upon us. This is a time that spiritually speaking, Jesus is denied three times by his servant, Jesus is crucified, the shepherd is smitten and the sheep scattered, Jesus is coming as a thief, Jesus is coming for judgment upon his house to destroy the wicked men out of the spiritual land (one shall be taken and the other left- where the body is, there will the eagles be gathered) So the NIGHT is coming or is here, where NO MAN CAN WORK, but wait a minute – THERE WILL BE PEOPLE WORKING IN THE NIGHT! – They will be preaching their gospel! – They will be eating and drinking and rejoicing in their work! – They will be hollering loud for fellowship – church – preaching the gospel – reaching the lost, they will be working in the NIGHT! Who are these people working in the NIGHT? – They are asleep – They are drunken (Isaiah 28) – they stumble, because there is no light in them (Isa. 28:13) – The Word of God is precept upon precept, line upon line that they might fall back and stumble and be snared!
For it is written in the Psalms “If the foundations be broken, what shall the righteous do?” No, these wicked blind sevants will work in the Night, because they are children of the NIGHT and there is no light in them. They are those of whom the scriptures speak “Who is blind but my servant” (Isa. 42:19). They shall labor in the fire. (Jer 51:58) Thus saith the LORD of hosts; The broad walls of Babylon shall be utterly broken, and her high gates shall be burned with fire; and the people shall labour in vain, and the folk in the fire, and they shall be weary. (Hab 2:13) Behold, is it not of the LORD of hosts that the people shall labour in the very fire, and the people shall weary themselves for very vanity?
Yes, brothers and sisters of the day, Jerusalem is Babylon, it has become a harlot and that is why we have been told to flee. (Mat 24:15-22) When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes. And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day: For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.
Brothers and Sister of the Day, think very carefully, what could qualify as a great tribulation such as never has been? Could they kill you, would that qualify? No absolutely NOT! – For who can separate us from the Love of God, can hardship or death of any kind separate us from the Love of God? Hasn’t it been said and rightly so that killing true Christians has historically made Christianity stronger? Since there has been more Christians killed in the last 100 years than in any time in history, how is killing Christians something different than has ever been, in the way of persecution? Cannot you see that our life and hope is not based in this world or this life? We are not carnal, but spiritual and we live in HIM and have our being. However, if the heavenly Jerusalem is being destroyed, the Mother of us all, I just would like you to consider what that might mean for us and our life in him, for this is truly the time of our trouble, the time of Jacob’s trouble and our brother Esau is hunting for our lives!
Please stop listening to drunkards and blind servants of the night, who couldn’t even tell you how you have heard, they couldn’t even tell you what it means to be sent, (how shall they hear with out a preacher and how shall they preach except they be sent) do not be a child of the night, but of the day, for the night is upon us! Do not rejoice in their wicked works of the night, for God when he arises shall despise their image. (Ps. 73:20) We must repent and walk mournfully before the Lord and pray as Daniel did in chapter 9 “and to us belongs confusion of face”. Do not think that pointing out the false teachers of darkness, the word of faith movement, the false anointing movement, the TV preachers, do not think that pointing these things out adds one thing to your salvation, it does not. Our goal should ALWAYS be to edify the remnant of Israel, to build them up in the most Holy Faith. Pointing out great evil many times serves to hold you back from repenting over your own wickedness. We need to prepare ourselves for his return and that requires that we look inward, not outward, we need to make sure that OUR fellowship is truly with one another and with Jesus Christ. Do not be deceived by the lawyers, politicians and salesmen who deceive by the presentation of faulty Thesis, only to then present Anti-Thesis, only to bring the weak to consensus (a unfounded agreement).

(Isa 29:1-4) Woe to Ariel, to Ariel, the city where David dwelt! add ye year to year; let them kill sacrifices. Yet I will distress Ariel, and there shall be heaviness and sorrow: and it shall be unto me as Ariel. And I will camp against thee round about, and will lay siege against thee with a mount, and I will raise forts against thee. And thou shalt be brought down, and shalt speak out of the ground, and thy speech shall be low out of the dust, and thy voice shall be, as of one that hath a familiar spirit, out of the ground, and thy speech shall whisper out of the dust.
(Jer 12:7-8) I have forsaken mine house, I have left mine heritage; I have given the dearly beloved of my soul into the hand of her enemies. Mine heritage is unto me as a lion in the forest; it crieth out against me: therefore have I hated it.
(Joe 2:16-17) Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts: let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet. Let the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare thy people, O LORD, and give not thine heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them: wherefore should they say among the people, Where is their God?
(Isa 47:6-7) I was wroth with my people, I have polluted mine inheritance, and given them into thine hand: thou didst shew them no mercy; upon the ancient hast thou very heavily laid thy yoke. And thou saidst, I shall be a lady for ever: so that thou didst not lay these things to thy heart, neither didst remember the latter end of it.
(Psa 90:11-17) Who knoweth the power of thine anger? even according to thy fear, so is thy wrath. So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom. Return, O LORD, how long? and let it repent thee concerning thy servants. O satisfy us early with thy mercy; that we may rejoice and be glad all our days. Make us glad according to the days wherein thou hast afflicted us, and the years wherein we have seen evil. Let thy work appear unto thy servants, and thy glory unto their children. And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish thou it.
IT IS GOD WHO ESTABLISHES OUR WORK, NOT THE SO CALLED “GREAT COMMISSION”, LET US, BROTHERS AND SISTERS, BE CHILDREN OF THE DAY AND NOT OF THE NIGHT, THAT WE MAY BE HID IN HIM AT HIS COMING, WHEN HE COMES TO DESTROY JERUSALEM THAT HAS BECOME BABYLON!
